Pneumatic oil pumps 3:1
Pneumatic – Oil pump is running continuously.
- Causes: Pump is sucking air in suction line.
- Remedy: Remove suction line, clean and put on new sealing tape.
Pneumatic – Oil pump is not building up pressure.
- Causes: Air inside the unit.
- Remedy: Remove the oil gun from the pressure hose. Hold hose into the barrel and turn on pump until the oil will be delivered.
The oil foams when tapping oil.
- Causes: Suction line is leaking.
- Remedy: Re-seal suction line with sealing tape.
